What Is A Playback Bonus?
Playback is a promotion type which we run on a regular basis which returns a percentage of any Net Loss over the promotional period. When we run a Playback promotion we'll always let you know the details on our Promotions page, or in the promotional email.
If your total play on a specific game has resulted in a Net Loss on your account, a Playback offer will pay you a certain percentage of this back as a Playback Bonus. A net loss is always defined as the total amount wagered minus the total amount won. For example, if you wager $100 and have game wins of $90, you have a net loss of $10. If you wager $100 and have games wins of $110, you’ve won more than you’ve lost during the promotional period but would not be eligible for a Playback Bonus. You can see the results of any game played in the past 180 days by heading to the Game History on your account from a desktop, laptop computer, or mobile device.
For example, if you start the day with $50 in your account and at the end of the day, having only played on the promotional game(s), you have $20 in your account, you’ll receive your Playback Bonus as a percentage of the $30 difference. If you start the promotional period with $50 in your account and have $120 by the end of the promotional period, having only played on the promotional game(s), you will receive no Playback Bonus.
Deposits, withdrawals, or play on any game other than the specified game(s), will not be taken into account when calculating your Playback Bonus. If you start the promotional period with $50 in your account, and finish it with $50 or more including any withdrawals (or go on to play the $50 on other games that aren't a part of the promotion ) then you will receive no Playback Bonus.
To be eligible for Playback, you must have met the wagering requirements on the specified game, and have had a Net Loss. Your Playback will then be credited to your account within 72 hours after the promotion ends.
What variations of Playback offers are there?
Each Promotion is slightly different as we like to spice things up with some variety. Please be sure to review the terms and conditions of each specific Promotion so you know how to qualify. Look out for changes in the games and times that are included in each one.
Playback based on the amount of wagering: Some Playback offers give you a higher percentage of Playback depending on the amount you spend. Remember though, the payout would still be based on your loss over the whole promotional period.
For example, some offers will give a higher Playback percentage based on the amount wagered: the promotion might give 10% Playback if you wager up to $50, and 15% Playback if you wager up to $100.
In this example, if you start the Promotion with $50 and wager $50, losing it all, you'd get back 10% of your losses, which is $5. But if you wager $100 instead, you'd get back 15% of your losses rather than 10%. So if you lose $100, you'd receive $15 rather than $10, qualifying for proportionally more Playback overall.
Playback based on the number of days: Some offers run for several days and give a higher Playback percentage depending on how many days you play. If you meet the wagering requirement on just one day, you might get back 5% of that day’s losses. If you play on two days, you may qualify for 10% Playback on losses over the two days, and so on. However, bear in mind that the eventual payout would be based on the losses over the whole promotional period, so if you win more on day two than you lose on day one, you may end up with no Playback. Of course, it's always great to have winnings as well.
Remember, the details of each promotion, such as the percentage and wagering requirements, will always be specified in the promotional email. The examples here are just an example.
